BTS: Behind the songs
NYC based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Nancy Rose crafts a seamless meld of dreamy indie pop/rock. In 2021, her work was recognized by the Recording Academy, with two of her original songs listed on the Official Ballot for the Grammy Awards. Nancy has frequented NYC venues, including Mercury Lounge, the Bowery Electric, the Cutting Room, Arlene’s Grocery, the Bitter End, the Delancey, and Heaven Can Wait. Her music is currently available on all streaming platforms with her band, Enohem.
Born and raised on the UES, Nancy grew up with music playing constantly throughout the apartment—a serendipitous pairing that resulted from her father’s audiophile listening habits. Young and soulful, her music style is constantly evolving and open to new influences and whims. These musical directions are connected by a central theme; Nancy is a storyteller of the heart.
